My tips: the list is a nuisance, but wait until you try to SEAT everyone! :) For the list, you're going to have to cut some people you kind of want to invite (you and they will get over it), and you're going to have to invite some people you want to cut. It sucks, but you'll get over it. And that day, you won't think about it at all. It's like a band-aid. Painful while you're doing it, but you forget shortly after. Registry: amazon.com and I think froogle let people create wishlists (amazon has a wedding-specific registry, I think). May be a suitable replacement for Circuit City.
