I’m alive!

I’ve been busy lately, but not extremely so. My lack of posting can be attributed to the following:

1) Can’t post on the blog from work anymore, or do much internet-ing. So my precious internet time is spent doing what really matters – looking at pictures of Britney.

2) I’ve been trying to cook more, so I’ve been concentrating on that when I get home.

3) We have SO MUCH Tivo to catch up on, so we’ve been stuck to the couch.

4) How can I use the computer when E spends his time looking lovingly at big screen televisions on sale for Christmas? The only way I could use the computer now is because I distracted him with my boobs.

I’ll be working tomorrow and Friday, which sucks but at least it will be slow. Thanksgiving is at home this year – just me, Erik, my mom, and her friend and maybe Traci will stop by. I tried to make one of the pies tonight, but didn’t realize that Erik’s mom automatically doubles her pie crust recipe, which would account for why the pie crust had to be rolled out so thin… thin enough that it didn’t support the filling. In other words, I’ll remake it tomorrow, and tonight’s dessert is baked pumpkin pie pudding.

Also, Grey’s Anatomy is on Thursday night but Erik refuses to let me watch it. I think I should be allowed to watch it then (as opposed to waiting when he is out) because I am cooking the meal. I also wonder if Erik will let me do Grey’s Anatomy recaps in our new blog. What do you think – leave your vote in the comments.

And finally, the wedding dress is currently hanging in our closet and taking up a lot of space. I need to get it cleaned but I heard it costs a ton of money. I also have no illusions that one day my daughter will want to wear it. So I ask – what should I do with the wedding dress? Donate it? Sell it? Turn it into a tree skirt? Leave your ideas!

I never said you couldn’t watch Gay’s Anatomy. I said there was no way in hell I was going to watch it. And like I said, you can watch anything you want if you buy me that big screen TV.

E – I heard that Best Buy is stocking up on some Westinghouse LCDs for Black Friday (too bad I’m boycotting them). I’ve had my eye(s) on a Westinghouse for a while, but I’m too cheap to spring for a new TV right now.

Also, I think that the pie-making explains my earlier question, so you can forget that.

Also also, um, Karen – whatever keeps you blogging has my vote. Even if it’s recaps of The Sluts (c).

Also also also, I have nothing else to say, but wanted to write “also also also”.

    You crack me up.

I saw the first preview for 24. Looking sweet, can’t wait for your write ups.

  4. Dana says:

24 recaps are without a doubt required.

  5. Dana says:

Oh, and so are Grey’s Anatomy recaps. Definitely.
