I thought this was pretty cool. If you go to this link, someone has “made” a crop circle of the Firefox logo. I doubt the crop circle is real (if you get really close, its got a beveled edge), but someone at google probably put it there. As Borat would say, NICE!
Actually, there was a post on Slashdot about the Firefox crop circle a couple months ago – if I had the time, I’d look it up, but I don’t, so suck it.
There were a ton of pictures they took while doing it and from a low-flying plane. It’s the real thing, yo.
yeah, I stopped reading slashdot. Too preachy and full of themselves. Open source is great and all, but anytime something MS or proprietary was posted, all the commentary was about how much better it would be it was open, why MS sucks, blah blah blah. They would never just talk about the thing in and of itself.
I just skip those posts. I like reading the snarky comments, actually, but I haven’t been in about a week (as I’m actually busy working these days). It’s probably the longest I’ve gone without in a long time, sadly. But I would never consider myself one of those religious slashdotters (never commented, never registered, etc)
Oh My GOD, I hope that crop isn’t Wheat! What a complete waste of Grain. Heaven forbid that crop be Barley, to waste grain and possibly Beer is unspeakable!!
