Welcome Back, Karen!

It’s been a really, really long time since I last posted. Sorry about that. I’ll try not to do it again. Here’s what I’ve been doing in my blog absence:

  • Finding juuust the right medicine for my depression (Note: Found it!)
  • Gained ten pounds from one medicine
  • Lost twenty pounds from another medicine
  • Read a ton of books (remember how I read 25 books last year? As of today, I’m on book 29 for 2007 and will likely hit 50 by the end of the year)
  • Got covered in flea bites since the cats had them again
  • Got a new job! This is my last week at the old job!
  • Baked some really good bread yesterday.

That’s about it. The new job is doing Convention Services planning and execution for another company in Charlotte. There’s some travel, but not a crazy amount – only about 20 – 25% of the time. I can’t wait!

More posts later – I promise!

Congrats again on the new job (and the medicine, and the bread, and books but not the fleas).

    What books?

    I just read:
    Plainsong by Kent Haruf and
    The Road by Cormac McCarthy

just picked up again (never finished last time)
The Spiritual Tourist by Mick Brown

Dana just re-read Harry Potter 6 while we were on vacation and is now about halfway thru HP7. I don’t read those books, so I have nothing to say about them. But I like the movies.

Congrats on a lot of stuff it looks like! I am glad that you are feeling better. We would love to hear more about the new job too! Jeff and I were actually talking about you two at lunch today!

Good job on the reading too – someone has to do that and some of us have to do the math. I am not a reader at all!

Will you two make it Cincy way any time soon?

Congrats on the Fleas! I’ve read one book this year so can you be a ghost reader for me? – LeeChee
