It’s that special time of year again when my waning belief in Hollywood is revived for at least a few weeks. We’re almost at the start of the new TV season, which will start as soon as the media gets their tongue out of Michael Phelps’ throat and some politicians celebrate themselves. It’s also time for me to get full of myself and think I am funny, and fill this blog with recaps of shows. This year, I again leave the choice of show to you. Leave your vote in the comments. The only stipulation is it has to be a show I already watch. The choices are:
1. America’s Next Top Model (Now in case you have not heard, this show’s cycle features a contestant who is a transsexual. At least, she’s the first to admit it. You can’t tell me that Jaslene wasn’t hiding her testicles in her chin. And even Paulina Porizkova called out DOMINIQUE! on being a dude.)

So I read your post on my phone and was leaving a long, hilarious comment about how you can’t give D another reason to watch Friday Night Lights, and that you should comment on Eureka so I have a reason to watch it which Dana wouldn’t really mind since there’s a guy named Fargo on it and how I wrote the whole comment while sitting on the toilet, but it didn’t post because there was no captcha.
So instead, I reported the problem to Google and said that I lost my hilarious comment that I composed while sitting on the toilet.
All of this sounded much funnier in my head. I give up.

24 must be done, if only for the Return of the Soulpatch. Friday Night Lights and some of the other shows might be tough, if only because we usually watch them last after some of the other shows are caught up, then watch like 5 of them in a week.
Erik, you know that even if ANTM does not get picked, I’m still totally going to watch it, right? I’m going to make Stanley be a fan of it. He’s gonna bark every time Tyra changes her weave.
While I love Bones and Chuck, and think that godawful (yeah, I said it!) Heroes would make good fodder, I pick ANTM or Lost. ANTM is made for snarky recaps. And Lost? It’s been kick-ass lately!
I have to vote for either ANTM or the Office. I need to make sure my TiVo is setup to tape it. My boyfriend is going to kill me. I’m already obsessed with the Hills.
I agree with the (old) TWOP adage that recapping (good) comedies doesn’t work, because they’re funny enough on their own. With that in mind, I say recap the unintentional hilarity that is ANTM. ANTM will always get my vote, always.

i say yay to ANTM and nay to 24. I agree with Jenn that comedies are already funny. Tyra, on the other hand, is not.
I don’t know. What I DO know is this: we will have HDTV (finally) by the time it comes back. The guys are coming to install the new dish a week from today.
I *suspect* SciFi is being a bunch of boobs and won’t start until winter-time-ish.
I also suspect that the battlestar wiki will have the answer we are looking for… Unfortunately my computer is being a bastard right now.

Can I vote for 3? Chuck, Heroes, and House. Those are the three that I attempt to (and fail often) to watch weekly, but the fact that they are all online if I miss them helps make them my favorite shows!!
I 100% vote for ANTM!! Your comments on it last season were HI-larious.
